England were denied an opening Euro 2016 victory after a last-minute
Russia goal saw the game finish 1-1 in Marseille on Saturday evening.
Roy Hodgson's men had plenty of chances throughout the contest,
with Eric Dier finally making the breakthrough with a curling free kick in
the 73rd minute.
England looked set to see out the game for their first ever opening-
game win at a European Championships, but a goal two minutes into
added time from Russia captain Vasili Berezutski saw the points shared.
England missed the chance to move level at the top of Group B with Wales, who won 2-1 against Slovakia earlier today.
